What an exciting and varied musical life JaN has lived!
She co-wrote and produced Cyndi Lauper's critically acclaimed 'Sisters of Avalon' album, touring the world with her as well as working with artists Darlene Love, Thompson Twins, Ani di Franco, Steps, Melanie Safka, David Schnaufer, Anthony Head, DJs Julian Marsh, Junior Vasquez, Soul Solution,3kstatic, appearing on stage with Angelique Kidjo, Tina Turner, Nile Rodgers, Linda Lewis, James Ingram, OMD and many, many more.
Her music for Film + TV continues to be heard worldwide including documentaries and reality shows like Oprah, X factor, Springer, MTV and American idol! With Jan’s music featured on over 60 CDs her scores of concrete electronique has won awards at the New York Film Festival and been used in films ‘Unhook the Stars’, ‘Intimacy’, ‘Blue Lagoon’ and ‘At the End’.
JaN lives in Suffolk where she enjoys being inspired by the River Deben and the creative community. She is currently producing South African Artist Estelle Kokot and jazz great Chico Freeman's album 'the Sound of You.'
Her weekly radio show ‘aMBieNT MuSiC WoRLD’ can be heard on Radio Jana, Radio Castle, Radio Ditto, Deben Radio and in virtual worlds where she performs as the virtual artist JaNa KYoMooN. Broadcasting to a global audience her shows have been described as an hour of calm, relaxation and musical massage.
She is excited about joining Felicity Karena in nurturing 'Clarity.is' mixing meditation and journaling with her music and art.
